ryan N. Sandler is a Principal in the Firm’s Phoenix office. He began his practice in Missouri and Illinois in 1995. He moved his family back to Arizona in 1998 and continued his practice in the Valley of the Sun representing insurance carriers and their insureds in the defense of general civil litigation matters. These matters have included personal injury claims, defense of Uninsured and Underinsured Motorist claims, property damage claims, examinations under oath and premises liability.
Over the years, Bryan’s practice has evolved and grown to include the defense of professionals against claims of professional liability. His clients include architects, engineers, real estate agents, attorneys, debt collection agencies and law firms. He has also successfully defended general contractors and subcontractors against construction defect claims and claims for indemnification.
In addition to the areas of general civil litigation and professional liability, he has experience in defending claims asserting violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, breach of fiduciary duties, punitive damages claims, fraud, defamation and violations of securities laws.
His years of experience have lead him to first chair over a dozen jury trials and bench trials, hundreds of mediations and arbitrations in both State and Federal Court, AAA and JAMS. He is licensed to practice in Arizona, Missouri and is on inactive status in Illinois.
Bryan also is very active in the community. He was President of Mesa Country Club from 2008-2009 and again for a second term from 2010-2011. He is currently heading the Long Range Planning Committee for Mesa Country Club. He also serves on the Board of La Mesita Cottages, a subdivision of A New Leaf, a non-for-profit organization that helps individuals and families cope with abusive relationships, as well as assist many homeless individuals and families. He also serves on the Advisory Board for Gateway Bank.
